Joe Riscica was raised on lacrosse, but that’s not the road he took. The Half Hollow Hills native began playing lacrosse in the second grade, and played up until in his senior year of high school. Joe was considering a multitude of universities but the college route was not right for him.
He never saw himself sitting behind a desk, he always envisioned himself working with his hands. The allure of a trade was always something Joe wanted to do, and when push came to shove it was the career he chose. Now he owns and operates his own auto body repair shop. Joe’s path is not a conventional but it is a story of following your dreams and finding your passion. Joe’s determination and belief in himself has landed him a successful and a happy life, something that all high schoolers should aspire to achieve.
