Q: How was field hockey season?
My field hockey season was good. We lost in the first round of playoffs. I finished my season with 10 goals and 4 assists and received All County.
Q: How has field hockey made you a better lacrosse player?
Being captain this year in field hockey gave me the honors to lead my team and be a role model for the lower class men in which I’m going to have to do this upcoming lax season. It has helped me see the field better and in my decision making.
Q: Why Brown?
I chose Brown because I visited the campus once and fell in love with it. Their open curriculum is going to allow me to have freedom with choosing my courses that I want to take. I love the coaches, the learning environment, the facilities, and the people in my class that I’m going to be playing with.
Q: What other schools were you considering?
I was considering Jacksonville and UAlbany.
Q: What are your thoughts on the upcoming season?
I’m super excited for this upcoming season but sad it’s going to be my last. I have been playing East islip lacrosse since I was in pre-k and now that it’s almost over is unreal.
Q: What is the goal in your senior season at East Islip?
My goal this season is to go far and work with the girls we have. Losing a player like Melissa Sconone is definitely going to be hard but I just hope that me and other offensive people can step up to help our team this season
