LILJ is Excited to Announce their New Partnership with Athletic Movement Protocol ‘AMP’

[Syosset, New York] LILJ is proud to announce its new partnership with Athletic Movement Protocol! The new partnership is going to offer unique opportunities for each establishment, but most importantly, will offer unique opportunities for the fans.

What is Athletic Movement Protocol? Their mission statement is simply powerful. They want to empower every athlete with the science-backed application of performance training, recovery, nutrition, and mindset. They believe everyone is an athlete. Every athlete at AMP is trained in movement rather than just muscles. AMP takes protocol seriously, and they stay on top of all the new performance techniques and provide them to their audiences. Every athlete at AMP will be a part of the protocol.

Quote from the Founder, TJ Lopez –“AMP is a place where you can develop outside of your sport, obviously physically, but mentally as well. To prepare yourself for the next level, there is a multitude of things you need to do be able to do and you need to be a well-rounded athlete.”

What does Athletic Movement Protocol offer? There are four types of service they offer: Sports Performance Training, Team Training, Young Athlete Training, and Virtual Training and Program Design.

The Sports Performance Training is the cornerstone of Athletic Movement Protocol. The AMP team will customize a training program for each specific athlete, and classes will be held in small groups of 5 players to 1 coach.

Team Training is a popular option for coaches to get their teams into shape with the AMP training experience. Sizes of teams can vary, and pricing information can be found by calling 516-802-0152.

Young Athlete Training is reserved for middle school athletes ages 11-13. AMP understands the future is important for these young athletes, so the training program is designed with long-term goals at the front of the program.

The Virtual Training and Program Design is for those not in the area, and for those who want to train at home. The program will be a created program that will be tailored at your local gym or even in your own home.

TJ Lopez, the founder of Athletic Movement Protocol, believes no matter who you are or where you are from, training like an athlete can improve everyone’s life.

When sitting down with the LILJ, Lopez said, “We treat every athlete as an individual and we look at them through that lens. And we want to make sure that the plan, the program, and the system we put them through is one that fits what they need and they’re going to reach their goals with it. At the end of the day, we are just the guide in this process”.

With the leadership of Lopez and the elite program behind AMP, LILJ believes the partnership will give our lacrosse community an opportunity to learn from some of the best on Long Island and will give lacrosse players a path to improve their game through proper movement, recovery, nutrition, and mindset.
