The playoffs are upon us and as we conclude the final days of the regular season the LILJ has put together another top 25 rankings. Check out the list to see who’s cracked the list and see who has made a significant leap from our last rankings during spring break.
- Northport
- St. Anthony’s
- Bayport-Blue Point
- Ward Melville
- Garden City
- Wantagh
- Sayville
- Manhasset
- Massapequa- The Chiefs end the regular season in the top 10, moving up seven spots from their previous ranking. They’ve won six of their final seven regular season games with arguably their best win coming against Garden City during this stretch. They are heading into the playoffs as the number one seed in the class A bracket.
- Comsewogue– After being ranked 17 in our spring break ranking, the Warriors have elevated into the back into the top 10 after picking up some big wins down the stretch including a signature win against Bayport. Look for them to make some serious noise in the class B bracket.
- William Floyd
- Smithtown East
- Shoreham-Wading River- The Wildcats jump five spots this time around and are going into the playoffs on a six game winning streak. The games decided by one or two goals seem to be going their way at just the right time.
- Cold Spring Harbor
- North Shore
- Rocky Point- A hot finish to the season see’s the Eagles soar seven spots from our previous rankings. They’ve won six of their last seven and have notched wins against high level opponents in Westhampton and Mt. Sinai.
- Westhampton
- Syosset- Cracking the a spot in the top 20 are the Braves after being out in our last rankings. This team is hoping for big things come the playoffs.
- Long Beach- The Marines are also in the top 20 after being on the outside looking in last time. Arguably their best win of the season came in their second to last regular season game against Rocky Point.
- Mt. Sinai
- West Babylon
- Sacred Heart
- Eastport-South Manor
- Miller Place
- Smithtown West
