2025 Fall Queen of the Island Preview

The largest and most competitive girls youth tournament on Long Island is back as Queen of the Island will take place on Saturday October 18th at both Veterans Park and Manor Field in the Town of Huntington. This one day tournament will feature a number of top club teams from across the island and around the tri-state area with teams ranging from eighth grade down to third grade. Each age group has a AA and A division where every team will play at least three games, ultimately leading to a champion being crowned from each division based on how you compete in your games. Starting from the first games at 8:00am and throughout the day the LILJ will have wall to wall coverage across our instagram stories @lilaxjournal and Player of the Game (POG) prizes will be awarded after each game. Following the conclusion of the tournament, the WLL’s New York Charging featuring Izzy Scane, Kylie Ohlmiller, Meg Carney and Emily Hawryschuk are making their way to the island to train, connect and inspire the next generation of Long Island lacrosse stars! Looking ahead to this weekend’s Queen of the Island Fall, let’s highlight the club teams that will be in action as well as some matchups to watch!
