YJ Torre/Mitchell Pours in 16 Goals in Victory Over Mount Sinai

The game began with YJ Torre/Mitchell quickly establishing dominance, scoring nine goals in the first half compared to Mount Sinai’s three.

Continuing their impressive performance, YJ Torre/Mitchell added seven more goals in the second half, while Mount Sinai could only manage to score three additional goals, leading to a final score of 16-6.

Key players for YJ Torre/Mitchell included the lethal attacker Madison Sussi who put forth a five goal performance, and Ava Tiedemann, who found the back of the net three times with two caused turnovers and three ground balls. Taylor Reising also contributed significantly with two goals and four assists, along with a four assist game for Eva Carvalho.

Defensively, Gianna Calise recorded three ground balls with a caused turnover, and in goal, YJ Torre/Mitchell’s Maribella Marciano had a strong game with a 50% save rate.

On Mount Sinai’s side, Quinnipiac commit Peyton Choma scored three goals and one assist, and sophomore Sophia Masone added two goals. Adding two ground balls each were Emily Romeo and Madison Cuccinello.
