The 2030 girls’ lacrosse class is already showing signs of exceptional talent, and a handful of players are standing out as future stars on Long Island and beyond. Highlighted below are five midfielders making their mark:
Lilly Arnone – Midfield (Class of 2030)
A dynamic presence from the midfield, Arnone is a dominant dodger and finisher who thrives around the 8-meter arc. Her explosiveness as a dodger and re-dodger makes her a constant threat, while her off-ball awareness and quick hands allow her to finish effectively inside. Arnone consistently creates high-quality shots and distributes well when defenses collapse, showcasing her ability to impact both as a scorer and facilitator.
Maggie Giachetti – Midfield (Class of 2030) ⭐️⭐️
Giachetti, out of Ward Melville, is a gritty two-way midfielder who embraces the little plays that lead to big goals. Known for her toughness and effort on both ends of the field, she shines with the ball in her stick. Giachetti is an elite dodger and goal-scorer who demands attention from defenses. Expect her to be a difference-maker whenever she steps on the field.
Avah Robinson – Midfield (Class of 2030) ⭐️⭐️
Robinson is “built different.” Her unique blend of athleticism and instincts sets her apart in this class. With tremendous focus and coachability, Robinson’s game continues to evolve as she faces varsity-level competition. Her upside is enormous—locally and nationally—and she has the tools to become one of the premier players in her class. Robinson’s growth will be exciting to follow in the years ahead.
Evelyn Avery – Midfield (Class of 2030) ⭐️⭐️
Avery is a goal-seeking midfielder with a knack for making plays. She’s dynamic on the dodge, creative in finding seams off-ball, and confident creating her own shot. Her offensive instincts make her a dangerous weapon, and her continued development will keep her on the radar as one of the top midfielders in her class.
Mckenzie Klammer – Midfield (Class of 2030) ⭐️⭐️
Klammer is among the elite in the 2030 class. Known as one of the most skilled two-handed players on Long Island, she brings a polished and versatile game to the midfield. Klammer competes fearlessly against older and bigger opponents, with her high lacrosse IQ and toughness standing out as defining traits. With her unique skill set and relentless drive, Klammer is poised for big things in the years ahead.
