The Class of 2027 is filled with high level players at the attack position that have certainly made a big splash their sophomore year whether it was on the varsity stage or throughout the summer at recruiting showcases or on the club scene. As many in the class are now in the midst of being in contact with college coaches, let’s spotlight ten Long Island attackers looking to take their game to the collegiate level.
Cadence Adamo (Rocky Point/YJ Grazidei Stadler)
Adamo from Rocky Point brings the element of versatility to her game, serving as an offensive threat either as a goal scorer or a facilitator. She can take a defender 1 on 1 and also moves very well without the ball. The 2025 year was one of dominance for Adamo, exploding for 70 points on varsity with Rocky Point, and having a massive summer including at Juniors Open and for Yellow Jackets at various club tournaments, showing why she’s one of the top righty attackers in the class on the island.
Grace Brantuk (Garden City/YJ Grazidei Stadler)
Brantuk out of Garden City stands at 6’0 and has one of the more powerful shots you’ll see from any attacker on the island. When she looks to dodge she does so with authority and is often times able to navigate her way through the teeth of a defense to get to goal. Whether it’s with the ball or without the ball Brantuk is a PROBLEM for opposing defenses. She is also skilled on the draw and makes plays on the ride being able to get the ball back for the offense. Look for her to have a big junior season for Garden City after an impressive summer at recruiting showcases like Juniors Open and on the club trail with Yellow Jackets.
Taylor Cavanaugh (Harborfields/FLG Navy)
When it comes to 1 on 1 attackers, the righty Cavanaugh is as good as it gets. She puts the ball in the back of the net at a high level, knows how to create her own shot, and will always find the open teammate as she has the ability to draw a second defender. Her sophomore year was a breakout one on varsity for Harborfields and she was an offensive machine this summer on the club circuit for FLG at various tournaments including Summer Genesis, Apex the Grind and Maryland Cup.
Lilly DeNatale (St. Dominic/Liberty Black)
DeNatale is a righty attacker that has excellent vision and knows how to read a defense. She’s very patient on offense and makes the right plays when the ball is in her stick. One of her best attributes at being able to get to goal is her strong roll dodge. DeNatale was instrumental in St. Doms making program history in 2025 and is coming off of a strong summer on the club scene for Liberty Black.
Bella Fiorelli (Walt Whitman/Jesters Black)
Fiorelli is a very crafty attacker that is two-handed and has great vision. She brings an element of flair and finesse as a scorer and she can spray the ball into the back of the net from a variety of angles. Fiorelli is coming off a masterful sophomore season for Whitman where she tallied 80 points and led all of Suffolk County in goals with 67. Her scoring prowess was on display all through the summer as a lethal offensive weapon on the club circuit for Jesters at tournaments including Summer Genesis and Maryland Cup.
Skye Korten (South Side/Top Guns Black)
Korten the lefty attacker from South Side is both quick and shifty, can operate from either the elbow or at X, and knows how to work the crease. She had a huge 2025 year, tallying over 50 points on varsity for the Cyclones and carried it into the summer where she was a standout at Juniors Open as one of the most prolific scorers with 13 points which was top 10 among 2027s. Her great summer was also on display in club for Top Guns Black.
Dylan McNamara (Sayville/YJ Grazidei Stadler)
McNamara is a premier talent in the class as a lefty that knows how to score from all over the field whether it’s in tight or from downtown. Having already establishing herself as a big time player, she’s shown countless times on the big stage that she has ice in her veins. Her lethal offensive game was on full display for Sayville as a sophomore where she was one of their leaders with over 50 points, and she continued her dominant play throughout the summer whether at Juniors Open or with Yellow Jackets at tournaments such as Summer Genesis, the LILJ Club Team Challenge and Maryland Cup. McNamara’s game will certainly play at the next level.
Olivia Mulada (Cold Spring Harbor/FLG Navy)
The south-paw Mulada has a silky smooth game and is a natural quarterback of the offense when the ball is in her stick. She has great vision to pick a part a defense either as an X attacker or operating on the elbow and can find the back of the net in bunches and at ease. The bigger the stage the better she plays and she was a huge part in Cold Spring Harbor winning back to back state championships, recording 80 points as a sophomore. This summer Mulada turned plenty of heads for FLG at tournaments including Summer Genesis, Apex The Grind and Maryland Cup and excelled at Juniors Open.
Violet Ortenzi (Port Washington/YJ Gaghan)

Expect Ortenzi to follow up a great sophomore season with an even bigger junior year.
Mairead O’Sullivan (Kellenberg/Jesters Black)
As a lefty attacker O’Sullivan has a nose for finding the back of the net. She is very quick on her feet and thrives at being able to create her own shot making her a tough cover for an opposing defense. When operating from X O’Sullivan excels at being able to quickly turn the corner and is an automatic finisher inside the 8-meter arc and on free position shots. She’s also not afraid to get scrappy for ground balls to keep offensive possessions alive. Her offensive firepower was on display her sophomore year where she was the leader in both goals and points for Kellenberg, and it carried into the summer for Jesters and at Juniors Open.
