2022 LIC Boys All Tournament Team

The Long Island Championships this weekend were incredible. On Saturday, the boys teams put on a show and there were some standout players. Checkout the top performers from Saturday’s championship games. Here is the first team, second team and honorable mention list.

LIC All Tournament First Team

Attack- Matt Perfetto (Manhasset)- The senior attackmen dominated as a goal scorer and feeder finishing with 4 points helping lead Manhasset to a title

Attack- Joey Spallina (Mount Sinai)- Spallina had a great final game despite coming up short on the scoreboard, he finished with a goal and five assists.

Attack- Michael Katz (Comsewogue)- The crafty lefty attackman tallied 4 goals and played outstanding against one of the best defenses in the state.

Attack/Midfield- Joey Terenzi (Manhasset)- Terenzi got the Indians offense going by getting them on the scoreboard, He would have 3 points and impact the game all over the field 

Midfield- Jack Peterson (Manhasset)- He was the MVP of the Class C title game. Peterson showed his incredible athleticism and did a little bit of everything on both sides of the field. He finished with 5 points 

Midfield- Luke Schmitt (Garden City)- Schmitt had a couple of crucial goals and helped propel the GC offense to 9 goals in a defensive battle vs Comsewogue 

Midfield- Timothy Kirchner (Northport)- Kirchner proved to be a dynamic threat offensively once again and couldn’t be stopped on Saturday for the Tigers

FO/Midfield- Max Hawkinson (Cold Spring Harbor)- Hawkinson won MVP of the Class D title game after scoring 3 goals and dominating the faceoff X

FOGO- Tyler Kuprianchik (Northport)- He won MVP of the Class A title game as he went 21-25 from the faceoff X. His quickness and ability to win it to himself helped him take over this game

FOGO- Jack Cascadden (Garden City)- The Cornell bound senior dominated the faceoff battle and helped Garden City take over the 4th quarter and beat Comsewogue 

SSDM – James LaPina (Manhasset)- The junior played a huge role in the Indians tremondus defensive effort to limit unbeaten Mount Sinai to 7 goals 

LSM- Andrew Miller (Northport)- Miller dominated at the LSM position. He caused havoc and was also able to come away with a goal as well. 

Defense- Brendan Staub (Garden City)- Staub anchored the back end as usual for Garden City. He was a nightmare to go against all day long. 

Defense- Jack Mullholland (Manhasset)- The star sophomore defender played lights out and anchored a Manhasset defense to its best performance of the season on the big stage

Defense- Cole Webber (Garden City)- Webber was outstanding for the Trojans defense. He constantly knocked down passes and caused turnovers.

Goalie- Bradley Hamroff (Port Washington)- The goalkeeper for the Vikings played out of his mind. He registered 18 saves and kept Port Washington in the game all the way until the end 

Goalie- Adam Wachholder (Comsewogue)- The sophomore netminder made plenty of key stops and finished with double digit saves on the afternoon

Attack- Michael Meyer (Northport)

Attack- Henry Gibbons (Garden City)

Attack- Henry Haberman (Port Washington)

Attack/Midfield- Liam Connor (Manhasset)

Midfield- Stephen Bayer (Port Jefferson) 

Midfield- CJ Riley (Cold Spring Harbor)

Midfield- Justin Bonacci (Comsewogue)

FOGO- Cal Girard (Manhasset)

FOGO- Austin Oppenheim (Mount Sinai)

SSDM- Quinn Reynolds (Northport)

LSM- Dylan Sagedar (Mount Sinai)

Defense- Matt Freeman (Port Washington)

Defense- Pat Pisano (Cold Spring Harbor)

Defense- Jesse Phelan (Cold Spring Harbor)

Goalie- Chris Allen (Garden City)

Goalie- Matthew Im (Manhasset)
