Long Beach Girls Lacrosse Match against Garden City: A Rematch Fueled by Rivalry

Get ready for an electrifying matchup as the Long Beach girls lacrosse team faces off against the formidable Garden City High School. This highly anticipated clash between two powerhouse programs promises to be a thrilling display of skill, strategy, and sheer determination on both sides of the field.

Long Beach, known for their resilience and tenacity, will rely on their standout players to lead the charge. Delaney Radin, a force to be reckoned with, brings her exceptional speed and agility, making her a scoring threat every time she possesses the ball. With her remarkable stick-handling skills, Delaney Chernoff is another key player who consistently delivers both goals and assists. Leading the charge is Kyle Finnell, Finnell is an exceptional attacker who consistently delivers goals for Garden City. With her lethal shooting accuracy and strategic positioning, she poses a constant threat to the opposing defense. Long Beach’s defenders will need to keep a close eye on her throughout the match.


Marie Caccibaudo and Maureen Arendt are two offensive powerhouses that Long Beach’s defense will have to keep a close eye on. Caccibaudo’s lightning-fast speed combined with her precise shooting accuracy make her a formidable threat in front of the net. Arendt, on the other hand, brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the team, always stepping up in crucial moments to rally her teammates.


In the midfield, Kendal Morris will provide Garden City with the necessary speed and athleticism to dominate the field. At Goalie Niam Pfaff will provide the big saves as that will be cruical. Defender Mabel Overbeck will provide the necessary speed to defend there territory.

Under her guidance, Long Beach has been consistently improving and developing into a formidable force. On the other side, Garden City is led by coach Dave Ettinger, a seasoned mentor known for his focus on discipline and skill development. His tactical approach has yielded success in the past, and he aims to lead his team to victory once again.

As the Long Beach girls’ lacrosse team faces off against their rivals from Garden City, the rematch from last year’s playoffs brings an added intensity to this highly anticipated match. Both teams possess a wealth of talent and depth in their respective rosters, with players like Delaney Radin, Delaney Chernoff, Ava Main, Kyle Finnell, Marie Caccibaudo, Maureen Arendt, Kendal Morris, Mabel Overbeck, and Niam Pfaff ready to showcase their skills. With two experienced coaches in Rachel Ray and Dave Ettinger leading their teams, this clash is poised to be a thrilling display of skill, determination, and fierce competition.
