Suffolk Boys Early-Season Players That Impressed presented by EAST LI Fitness

See who’s impressing the LILJ early season out in Suffolk County…

Kole (w/ a K) Lemke is a Senior from Hauppauge that is straight rolling this season with 27 points from the midfield, leading his boys to a 3-1 start in 2024. Lemke is averaging nearly 7 pts / game.

Griffin Sumwalt has his boys at Riverhead off to a hot start. This Senior is 13G & 5A from the attack for the Wave. Riverhead is approaching a tough stretch this month in the schedule and Sumwalt is ready to lead the way.

Nick Uzakewicz is a Senior who dropped 84 points, with 59 Apples a season ago. With 17 assists in just 4 games, Uzakewicz is on pace drop 70+ assists in 2024. Talk about a guy who knows how to share the sugar 👏

Connor Fitzgibbon (Senior Committed to Lincoln Memorial) has been a wall in net this year. Leading the T-Birds to a hot 3-1 start, his defense is giving up less than 6 goals/game over the last three games. Fitz has 50+ saves on the year and is over 60% saving the rock. We see you Fitz.

Logan Hoenig (Senior Committed to Piedmont) speaking of hot goalies, Middle Country’s Logan Hoenig has been racking up saves against a tough line-up of teams early in 2024. Despite dropping to 2-2, Hoenig has played well in every game this season including double digit saves against Pat-Med and Hills’ prolific offense.

Dennis Hodge-Bocanfuso (Senior Committed to Pace) Hodge has racekd up over 20 GBs on the season, which is over 5 per game. Besides crushing it on the ground ball battle, Hodge has 6 points and is over 50% at the face-off X for Bay Shore’s 2-2 squad.

Brayden Feeney is a Senior LSM/Pole for Smithtown East who has 10 caused TO’s on the season, averaging over 2 per game. This varsity captain is a football/laxer who is a pure athlete. Love seeing the multi-sport fellas from around the island step-up as the flower bloom.
