LILJ Announces the Boys All-Long Island Games

The LILJ is proud to announce that we will be hosting the boys All-Long Island Games for the classes 2023-2029. The All-Long Island Games are a way to celebrate the top players in each class and is by invite only. Back in the spring the inaugural All-Long Island Games took place for girls, and we are now doing the same for the boys. The boys All-Long Island Games will be broken up into two dates. The classes of 2024-2027 will be playing November 11th on Veterans Day at the SUSA Sports Complex in Central Islip. The classes of 2023, 2028, and 2029 will be playing in June of 2023 after the conclusion of the spring season at a location that is to be determined.

In addition to celebrating and honoring the top players, the event is also an opportunity for college coaches to evaluate and recruit players, particularly in the 24, and 25 class. Throughout the spring and summer the LILJ talent evaluators have been covering high school games as well as tournaments, tryouts, and practices to evaluate talent in each class. The LILJ will continue to evaluate talent as players who are selected for the All-Long Island Games will be announced in waves on the lilaxjournal instagram account. Beginning this week the LILJ will be announcing the first wave of invites in the class of 2024!
