Tomorrow at the All-Long Island Games the LILJ will be announcing the winner of this year’s Girls Paumanok Award to the most outstanding player in the Class of 2023. Paumanok is the Native American word for Long Island, and the player who wins this award is someone who has excelled on the field putting their team in a position to be successful while also demonstrating leadership qualities and leaving a lasting impact on their program. This season has seen plenty of players in contention for the award, and for the Class of 2023 the LILJ has narrowed it down to the 23 finalists for this year’s award.
