In the game it was Madison Sussi who managed to score the lone goal for the Friars. This game was a testament to South Side putting forth a tremendous effort on defense, especially on the ride which gave St. Anthony’s difficulties clearing the ball.

Going into week 2 South Side will look to improve to 2-0 when they face 1-0 Westhampton at 4:00, while St. Anthony’s will match up against another team looking for their first win the Rocky Point Eagles at 1:15.
