Bayport Blue Point in Command With 15-6 Win Over GC Tradition

In a club vs high school matchup between GC Tradition and Bayport Blue Point, at the Stony Brook University Indoor Complex, it was the Phantoms who came out with an impressive 15-6 win in week 2 of pool play.

Bayport established a commanding presence in the first half, leading with a score of 6-2. This early advantage set the tone for what was an all-around strong effort both offensively and defensively.

In the second half, Bayport Blue Point continued their impressive performance, scoring nine additional goals. GC Tradition managed to score four more goals, but they were just unable to contain Bayport’s offensive, particularly their two junior midfielders in Cuse commit Aubrie Eisfeld and Maryland commit Ava Meyn.

Meyn and Eisfeld were each stellar, with five goals, one assist, and one caused turnover for Meyn, and four goals and a ground ball for Eisfeld. Erika Kreuscher the Stony Brook commit also made a notable contribution with one goal and two assists. In the 2026 class Sara Richardt, was pivitol across the board from the midfield, with two ground balls, one caused turnover, one goal, and one assist. While Shannon Carney was instrumental in Bayport’s clear and added two ground balls. The goaltending of Shannon Alden the Quinnipiac commit was very formidable as she denied six shots with a save percentage of 50%.

On the GC Tradition side, their six goals were each scored by a different player as Ava Borzilleri, Kimberly Colucci, Ciara Hegarty, Rhylee Kirchner, Abby Wheeler, and Penelope Yaker all found the back of the net.
