As we gear up for the 2025 LILJ College Bound Experience next week, excitement is already building around a talented group of young athletes poised to make noise on Long Island’s top training experience. With elite college coaches with Long Island roots ready to coach and a full-field, climate-controlled setup at Stony Brook University, this year’s event is shaping up to be one of the most competitive yet. Below are several 2030 standouts who have already caught our attention heading into next week’s sessions — athletes whose skill, energy, and upside make them ones to watch.
Players That Excite
Michael Masone, 2030, Attack, Mt. Sinai
A true Suffolk stud who plays the game with a strong blend of grit and skill. Masone can beat you with physicality or precision, pairing impressive vision with top-tier goal-scoring ability.
Jack Mooney, 2030, Defense, Bayport
Who doesn’t love a tough lefty defenseman from Bayport? Mooney fits the mold perfectly. Strong positioning, disciplined posture, and clean execution in the clearing game make him a defender we’re eager to see matched up against Long Island’s top 2030/31 attackmen next week.
Camden Karagjozi, 2030, Defense, Middle Island
A player we’ve covered at the Excelsior Games, Karagjozi brings clutch two-way ability and an energetic presence to the field. Skilled, tough, and consistent — he impacts the game on both ends.
Alex Marino, 2030, Goalie, Port Washington
A lefty stopper with lightning-quick hands. Marino handles high, low, off-hip, and stick-side shots with confidence. Strong in tight and steady on outside attempts — low-angle shooters should beware; he’ll eat those up.
Ethan Vichman, 2030, Midfield, Farmingdale
A true two-way midfielder who can change possessions off the wing. Vichman is excellent off-ball, constantly creating advantages for himself and teammates while finishing his chances with precision. He takes as much pride in his defensive game as he does on offense.
